Pasimuno ng Sotto ouster plot? Tolentino says he has highest respect for Senate President

Senator-elect Francis Tolentino tried to brush aside reports he was moving for the ouster of Senate President Tito Sotto, saying he has nothing but respect for the lawmaker.

Tolentino however plans to follow his political party’s decision on whoever will be next Senate President of the 18th Congress.

“I just arrived from my Jerusalem, Israel and haven’t caught up with he latest news. Whatever the case, I will abide by the decision of my party PDP Laban/Hugpong,” he said in a Facebook post.

“I have my highest respect for Senator Sotto,” he said.
